Our system offers you a proprietary micro-precision rapid tooling system which enables turn around of moulded designs within 2 weeks rather than 1-2 months.
We use hardened steel mould to ensure that we can manufacture anything from a few parts up to millions of parts. As a ISO13485:2016 certified company we can assist you with commissioning and validating the mould tools, which means that we support you with the optimal conditions for amending and rapidly optimizing your design.
For maximum turnaround speed, we provide our own mould tools and customise the steel inserts (MIMI-system) that shape your design. Of course, we also design and manufacture complete mould tools for your designs that are specified to you and that you can transfer anywhere you want.
RD Support utilises moldflow simulations. Simulation is a highly effective and cost-efficient method to optimise cooling, cycle times, ejection locations, minimise warpage and deformations. It gets the project started with the knowledge that outcomes are right first time and early parts are produced in finished product quality. This further shortens the time to final approval and volume production.

If you look into Laser Ablation you have the shortest time to market and lowest cost. Surface finish will be frosted Ra>0.8. The accuracy is ±5-8µm and aspect ratio will be 2:1. With the corner radius you can achieve ≥ 20µm.

With Micro milling you have around 2 weeks lead time and a fairly low cost. The surface will bare milling marks Ra≥0.2. Accuracy of your design will be ±2-4µm with and aspect ratio of 10:1. Corner radius wil be ≥ 50µ.

Diamond Milling has a medium cost, and we can offer you a lead time in about 3 weeks. You will get a polished surface Ra<0.02. Accuracy on the design will be ±2-5µm, aspect ratio is 5:1 and the corner radius ≥25µm.

The Micro-EDM technology will be 3 weeks lead time and in a medium price point. Surface finish is polished Ra<0.02. The accuracy in the design features is ±2-4µm, aspect ratio will be up to 15:1 and the corner radius will reach ≥20µm.

With Lithography we have the longest lead time of 4-8 weeks and the highest price point. On the other hand, you will have mirror surface finish within Ra<;0.01 and an accuracy in your design which is <1µm the aspect radius is 2:1 and sharp corner radius.
