PumpRing - World's only Disposable Precision MicroPump that is integrated into your consumable, not connecting to it from the outside. This provides products with 5 key unique selling points:

  1. Unrivalled precision: The pump is part of the fluidic pathway. Hence there is no air spring-related delay or imprecision for fluid flow.

  2. No contamination risk: Closed loop operation preventing product exposure to the environment.

  3. No wasted fluid: Pump can be positioned directly at the fluid source, ensuring every drop is used.

  4. No cleaning required: With no leftover residues in tubes, cleaning steps are eliminated entirely.

  5. Low cost: Replacing precision pumps out of the instrument cuts cost and extends instrument life due to eliminated contamination risk.

PumpRing enables thus far impossible fluid handling opportunities.

  • Easily integrated into any moulded cartridge / disposable

  • Large range of pumping speeds available (from uL/min to ml/min depending on configuration

  • Low surface energy Polypropylene material ideal for (molecular) medical applications

  • Highly suited to pick and place high volume fully automated manufacturing

  • Enables on-card closed loop pumping

  • Inexpensive, light-weight and disposable PumpRing

  • Standard or bespoke options available

  • Consistent and reliable flow

  • Simple integration into instrument with zero net force

  • 100% flexible and accurate programming manually or via Python or other

  • Patented options for integration of valves and multiple inlets and outlets

  • PumpRing is a deconstructed peristaltic pump.

The 2-shot moulded PumpRing replaces the tube in traditional peristaltic pumps.

The second half of the flow channel is an integrated design feature of the disposable cartridge.

  • No. PumpRing is extremely cost effective. The pump channel is an integral part of your disposable design and therefore free.

Additionally you will need one more component, the 2-shot PumpRing element, which is produced at high volumes and is very affordable, and a fast laser welding process that can be highly automated.

  • Yes, but not as a stand-alone product itself. We are working with several companies to integrate the power of PumpRing into their products at the moment.

  • Yes, please use the enquiry form at the bottom of this page and we’ll discuss your requirements and provide you with a quotation.

  • We have 2 PumpRing options.

    1. 27mm diameter for pumping 0 to 100ml/min

    2. 12mm diameter for pumping 0 to 2ml/min

Three 12mm PumpRing disposables on top of each other. The PumpRing is black and the housing has barbed fluid connectors and is transparent
